AdWorkshop, a full service advertising agency located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York, seeks to fill the position of Internet Programmer. The successful applicant must perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing standards to include maintaining and modifying programs.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Program web pages by implementing a design created by a designer
Plan a database structure for the above website when required
Test and troubleshoot websites currently online
Assist in monitoring and maintaining current hosting web servers
Provide occasional tech support relating to the operation and upkeep of websites to clients
Offer assistance to co-workers as needed
Required Skills:
The available position requires the following skill set:
A working knowledge of the Internet
The ability to follow direction and work independently with little supervision
Willingness to work with Adobe CS3 applications
The ability to program using a Windows based PC
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS and SQL languages
The ability to work in a collaborative environment next to other programmers and designers
The ability to communicate well with co-workers and with clients
